Our newest releases include limited editions of Killing Joke, the first album released by English rock band of the same name. Formed in 1979 in Notting Hill, the band is known as a key influence on the genre of industrial rock.

 

Killing Joke have influenced many later bands including Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden and Metallica. The band themselves described their style as ‘tension music’ although they’re also often associated with the punk movement. Their style has evolved a great deal over the years, incorporating elements of many different genres.

 

Another of the latest releases at our vinyl record store is Forever Young by Alphaville which was originally released in 1984.

 

This German synth pop band got together in 1982 and their song Forever Young has been used in a number of movies. This limited edition copy of this album comes with an orange disc.
