Need a pick-me-up after the challenges we’ve all faced so far this year? One of the great things about collecting vinyl records is you’re always on the hunt for something new and exciting!

 

Apparently, the man with the biggest collection of vinyl records is Zero Freitas who has a whopping eight million in his collection. While few vinyl record lovers have a collection remotely approaching this amount, there is something about vinyl that’s particularly collectable.

 

Finding the records you love isn’t difficult when you explore Rival Records. We currently have reduced prices on many bestsellers such as Is This It by The Strokes, The Pleasure Principle by Gary Numan and For Emma by Bon Iver.

 

Whatever genre or artists are your favourites, we have a wide range of vinyl records, both at our shop and available to order online. Our forthcoming records available to pre-order include Use Me by Pvris, Liam Gallagher’s Unplugged, Gas Light by the Dixie Chicks and Gigation by Pearl Jam.

 

Established in 1990, Pearl Jam comes from the same neck of the woods as Nirvana (unfortunately, however, Kurt Cobain wasn’t a fan of the band and dissed them on several occasions!). Gigation is their eleventh studio album and recently came on on 27th March 2020.

 

Based in Devon, our vinyl record store is always bringing in new releases, including classic limited edition discs. We love helping music-lovers find the best records for their music tastes. Rival Records will be taking part in the ‘love record stores’ online event on 20th June.
